Washing machine odor is caused from a detergent and fabric softener buildup behind the spin basket.

Any kind of washing machine, any brand, top loading, or front loading can have a musty or moldy odor. Front loaders, however, seem to have the biggest problem with smells. Let's talk about what causes the odor in a washing machine, and then we can address what to do to eliminate it.

Did you know that lemons, which are thought to have originated in India, are an excellent source of vitamin C? Similar to it's cousin, the lime, lemons have a ton of beneficial properties including antioxidant health, baking, and cleaning.

Bathroom Cleaning Tips

When your hair ties and hair clips are scattered everywhere, use an empty toilet paper tube to hold ties and scrunchies, the bobby pins and hair clips can be attached to the ends of the roll.

To help combat bathroom odors, place a couple fabric sheets in the bottom of the waste paper basket.

For a shower head that is corroded with calcium, remove the shower head and place in a Ziplock bag filled with vinegar so that it is completely covered, and let it set overnight.
